This Algebraic Expressions Millionaire Game can be played online alone or in two teams. For each question you have to identify the correct mathematical expression that models a given word expression.

My students enjoyed this game more when they could play in pairs against each other. It really enforces the ability of going from words to equations.

Interpret and represent algebraic relationships with variables in expressions, simple equations and inequalities.

Write, read, and evaluate expressions in which letters stand for numbers.

Write expressions that record operations with numbers and with letters standing for numbers.

Understand a rational number as a point on the number line. Extend number line diagrams and coordinate axes familiar from previous grades to represent points on the line and in the plane with negative number coordinates.
